Your application process

1) Complete the application. 

2) Upload the required documents, including proof of English proficiency. 

3) Submit the application. Mind the timeline! 

Your admission and registration process follows these steps:

  1. Submit your application
    To apply, you submit your application and the required supporting documents to the Admission Officer, who will guide you through the process and support you with any questions along the way.

  2. Application review
    Your application is reviewed by the Program Steering Committee to verify that you meet the eligibility requirements and that all required documents have been submitted.

  3. Evaluation of the application file
    The Committee evaluates your application file and supporting documentation, including your academic background and curriculum vitae.

  4. Interview stage
    Eligible applicants are invited to participate in an online oral interview conducted by members of the Program Steering Committee.

  5. Additional language assessment (if required)
    In some admission rounds, an English comprehension test may also take place before the interview.

  6. Final selection of candidates
    After completing the evaluation process (application file, interview and possible language assessment), the Committee prepares the final list of admitted candidates and a list of runners-up.

  7. Enrolment at the University
    Successful applicants complete the enrolment process according to the instructions provided by the Program Secretariat.

• High-school diploma or equivalent secondary education qualification from a recognised school abroad, granting access to higher education in the country of graduation
• Completion of at least the final two (2) years of secondary education abroad on a full-time basis
• Graduates of recognised foreign schools legally operating in Greece may also apply, according to the conditions defined by the Program regulations
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level according to the CEFR
• Submission of a complete application file with the required supporting documents
• Participation in an online interview conducted by the Program Steering Committee
• Evaluation of the candidate’s academic background, CV, and supporting documents by the Program Steering Committee

The following academic qualifications are positively taken into consideration during the evaluation process:

• Minimum overall high-school diploma grade equivalent to at least 65% of the maximum grade
• International Baccalaureate (IB): minimum 28/45
• GCE A-Levels: minimum BBB in three subjects, especially Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or English
• Advanced Placement (AP): grade 4 or 5 in relevant subjects such as Environmental Science, Biology, Statistics, Physics, Calculus, Chemistry, Microeconomics, or English Language and Composition
• SAT / ACT: SAT ≥ 1000/1600 or ACT ≥ 22/36

Applicants are required to submit the following supporting documents:

• Copy of passport or national ID card
• High-school diploma (with official English translation, if issued in another language)
• Official final-year high-school transcript and detailed grades (with official English translation, if required)
• Proof of English language proficiency at minimum B2 level according to the CEFR
• Motivation Letter (up to 500 words) explaining the candidate’s interest in Forestry and the Natural Environment, motivation for joining the Program, and future goals
• Short Curriculum Vitae (CV) including studies, distinctions, volunteering experience, or other relevant activities related to the field

 

€7,000

per Academic Year

The total tuition fee for the Program is €28,000 for the full duration of studies.

Tuition fees are paid by the students themselves (or by a third party acting on their behalf) into a bank account of the Special Account for Research Funds of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (ELKE AUTH).

The fees are paid in eight (8) equal instalments of €3,500, with the first instalment due during the enrolment process and the remaining instalments payable before the start of each semester.

When submitting the application, candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application processing fee of €150.

Upon acceptance into the Program, candidates are also required to pay a deposit of €1,350, which is counted toward the tuition fees and is non-refundable in case of withdrawal.
